Drive-In Movie Theaters used to be common place in America, once upon a time. In fact, in the late 1950’s, Illinois had over 120 drive-in theaters. This author grew up having a drive-in in his hometown and has vivid memories of fun times spent there. There are still a couple left in northern Illinois, and here they are!
