The Chicago Fire was founded on the 126th Anniversary of the Great Chicago Fire of 1871, in 1997. They are in the Eastern Conference of the Major League Soccer teams. The first 9 seasons were played at Soldier Field. In 2007, Toyota Park was built for the Fire and they played here until 2019, when they returned to Soldier Field. The Chicago Fire have won 4 US Open Cups in 1998, 2000. 2003 and 2006.

PERFORMANCE CENTER – TRAINING FACILITY

This is the site where the Chicago Fire are building their Performance Center, which will become their training and rehab facility.
SOLDIER FIELD (1997-2006 & 2020- present) – STADIUM
1410 Special Olympics Drive, Chicago
The Chicago Fire started playing here for almost a decade when they first started out in the MLS. They moved to Toyota Park for over a decade, then moved back into Soldier Field during the 2020 season. Holds 61,500 spectators.
TOYOTA PARK (2007-2019) – STADIUM
7000 S. Harlem Avenue, Bridgeview
The site of the current Seat Geek Stadium, where the Chicago Fire once played. This stadium was built , in part, for the Fire to use. It has also hosted numerous concerts and other Soccer teams play here. Holds 20,000 for soccer, 28,000 for concerts.
CARDINAL STADIUM (2002-2004) – SITE
North Central College, Naperville
The site of the current Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium, used by North Central College in Naperville. The Chicago Fire played here when Soldier Field was being renovated 2002-2004. Holds 5500 spectators.
